In the quiet corners of our paperwork, there’s a stamp that reads, “Ce the VP Approved.” To many, it may seem just another routine stamp, but behind it lies a tale of immense significance—a story of Ce, the Vice President of Industrial Strength LLC.
Ce wasn’t just any chihuahua. With a single eye, an endearing underbite, and a personality that could light up a room, she was more than just my dog; she was my right-hand girl, my ride or die, my beautiful muse, and an integral part of the IS family. Her beginnings, as with most rescues, are unclear, and she came with some battle scars, so I knew she had put up a fight to become the love of my life. We say we save the animals, but truth be told, they save us.
Every day, Ce graced the factory floor with her presence, brightening the day of everyone she encountered. Whether it was during meetings or lunch parties, her keen intuition always guided her to the heart of every gathering. In fact, daily meetings would often begin and end with the question, ‘What would you do, Ce?’ It was this unwavering presence and influence that endeared her to my team, earning her the adoring nickname of Ce the VP.
In October 2023, tragedy struck as Ce succumbed to cancer. The loss was profound, leaving a void that could never truly be filled. Yet, amidst the grief, her memory lives on—a reminder of the joy she brought into the lives of those around her.
This is a tribute to Ce the VP— Her legacy lives on in the stamp that bears her name, serving as a touching reminder that it’s the little things in life- like the wag of a tail, the smile you put on someone’s face and kindness to all.
